WINGCO WILLIE AND HOORAY HENRY BOUNCE BACK

The Royal propaganda dept. is improving. Following a couple of days of excruciating embarrassment by the 'chuckle brothers' 'the firm' has reacted, they are learning.

They can no longer ignore the antics of Royal fools, it plays bad in the media, no more 'let them eat cake' now they have a PR dept.

Last night on TV there they were, the sibling princes, wearing nice suits and, wait for it, sober and, visiting the war wounded.
Coverage of this cynical stunt was interposed with film of the boys looking heroic in their uniforms.
We got to see Harry again in that staged gun firing shot and William climbing in and out war machines, and weren't they really nice to the soldiers, such nice young men and so down to earth.

A couple of bad days of cringing behaviour is remedied by getting all the TV stations to fall into line and remind a gullible public how wonderful the Royals are. 'it's a Barnum & Bailey world" with the Royal Firm right enough, and remember these guys are in their middle twenties, there's decades of this claptrap to look forward to.

"I have always thought that what we have to do with the royal family is integrate them as far as possible into the human race” (Vera Baird QC Solicitor General)
She hits the nail on the head, I agree that they are not yet a lost cause, they must be able to do something worthwhile surely.
She was commenting on Peter Philips losing his place in the succession for marrying a Catholic and Royal women being overlooked by men, yes even the chuckle brothers.

" He (Peter) is no longer good enough to join the brigands who robbed, pillaged, raped & fornicated their way to power.
He can't succeed the Hitler lovers like King Edward v111 or the SS uniform wearing Prince Harry.
His mother would have been elbowed aside by even an imbecilic younger brother, her and his sister Zara are better than the oddballs, looney tunes and comic (and tragic) cuts of the British Royal line. How long will we agree to this Ruritarian farce called monarchy, where the head of state is dependent upon the gene pool of inbreeding putrefying (and anything you like as long as it's not Catholic) aristocracy" (George Galloway MP)

I'll let George's measured words say it all, I'm feart frae the 'Tower' or being 'Diana-d'

Very flimsy, even by your ghastly standards, please try harder this is becoming awful.

Folks, this is ridiculous.

I think it's a cunning plan to lull us into a false sense that the Princes are prats until the Royal equivalent of The Mighty Kelly comes forward, as he did a la Wendy 'Two Questions' Alexander to tell us it's a cunning plan to wrong-foot the opposition.

Quite right Terry when will the British public see the 2 Princes for what they are!

Terry. How about setting up one of those polls that many bloggers have? I should have thought that that would appeal to your democratic instincts

Let us vote on which is the most pressing of two propositions, ie the one above or one that states that

'I have always thought that what we have to do with Councillor Terry Kelly is integrate him as far as possible into the human race'

Then we can see what your readers, who must by now be amongst those who know you and your thinking as well as anyone, would consider as having most priority for action

And we would want to be able to vote on both options, not just for one like those dinky Cuban jobs

Would you and others taking part in a poll be obliged to identify themselves, Or is that too scary for you ?

Terry
Did you see that Sir Winston Spencer Churchill, has been voted British hero?

And on St Georges Day as well.

Tell us Councillor, who would get your vote?

He/she must be British, so Stalin, Castro Honecker, Pol Pot and Mad Bob are excluded.

This obsession with crying over anons is a great way to avoid any kind of answer isn't it?

Where are all your supporters by the way? I'm sure they won't mind making themselves known.

Perhaps we should ask people to add their passport numbers and postcodes to ballot papers next Thursday.

I don’t remember voting on that. Still it’s a shocker isn’t it.

I would go for Lord Archer, a man who has overcome great adversity to become a perfect example of the British Capitalist State. Also for his services to Literature.

I can’t understand why people write in anonymously, it seems pointless, I can only assume it’s cowardice.

You write very angry and aggressive comments but, can’t identify yourself. What’s the point in that ? Are you afraid of embarrassing yourself.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Serpico) 07:16

So it’s too scary for you then. Are you a secret agent ? Would you have to kill me if you told me who you were ?

Terry:

You know that when one quotes George Galloway approvingly you have lost the plot. Why is it that those on the far left hate our royal family but fawn over hereditary dictators like the Castros and the Husseins? Our royal family was voted in by Parliament, where does their legitimacy come from?

Two minor points: Who is/was Edward v hundred and eleven? I think you mean Edward VIII (note the Roman numerals, not the Indian/Arabic ones). Prince Harry wore an Afrika Corps uniform, not an SS one. The Afrika Corps were regular German army, the SS were the armed wing of the Nazi party (basically). Not that that makes it okay.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Rumbold) 09:44

I don’t hate the Royal family and I don’t fawn over anyone, you accuse me of fawning over Sadam Hussein, just who has lost the plot here ?

Thank you for clearing up those “Two minor points” I’m always gratified when someone settles on things like that instead of the point being made, it means I’m winning. A very poor, tired post.

Rumbold said...

Terry:

Galloway fawns (or rather fawned)over the Husseins, not you. My apologies for not making that cleaere. Anyway, what was your central point?

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Rumbold) 10:19

When you are reduced to highlighting spelling/grammar mistakes you are losing, that’s one point.

Galloway is a very smart operator, like him or loath him, you underestimate him at your peril.
You have allowed your personal dislike of him to get the better of you.

We, the West sold Hussein his weapons did we not ?

Anonymous said...

Galloway is not a very smart person though.

Yes he knows big words but when you read the Daily Record column from which you quote and review his past contributions it becomes clear that his politics are infantile and his personal beliefs odious and self-contradictory.

One must assume that this is the first job he has had where the previous articles are archived on the Net. You can trawl back and see that on at least one occasion he wrote a piece taking precisely the opposite view from one stated a couple of weeks before after the previous position became electorally disadvantageous.

And that is before we come onto Respect's horrific actions in his fight against Oona King.

You would do well not to quote this man in the future. He does your cause no good.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

“his politics are infantile and his personal beliefs odious and self-contradictory” have you been taking lessons from him ?

I am a keen observer of politics and I’m not aware of what he did to Oona King but I’ve no doubt he can play hard.

If I lived in his constituency I would have canvassed for her ! I used his piece in the Record because I found it hilarious.

Rumbold said...

Terry:

You are surely above quoting George Galloway. We expect better from you.

Scunnered, O'Aberdein said...

'Would you and others taking part in a poll be obliged to identify themselves, Or is that too scary for you ?'

I should have guessed secret ballots would be too much for you

Anonymous said...

You found it funny? I found it to be a hate-filled rant but each to his own.

Have a look for "oona king attack synagogue" on Google.

I cannot stand King but if I were there I would have also campaigned for her because of the disgusting anti-Semitic overtones that the Respect campaign used towards her. It was vile.

(Rumbold) 24/04/08

Galloway would not get my vote because he is no longer a Labour candidate, that doesn’t mean I disagree with all of what he says.

Remember his trip to Washington ? Magnificent, his support for Palestine ? I’m with him.

His Royal piece was an over the top rant and I plagiarised it because it was saying something important and, most importantly, it was hilarious.

If you want to say something damaging about him, I challenge you to say it in public using proper ID that would prove your disdain for him and I would believe you.

I take that to be a big scared ‘NO’then.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Anonymous) 15:05

“I found it to be a hate-filled rant but each to his own” Since you haven’t mentioned the exclusion of Catholics and the discrimination against women in the succession can I assume that you agree with it ?

Would that make you a sectarian misogynist in the same way as Respect are accused of anti Semitism.

What does Galloway say about that charge ?

Scunnered, O'Aberdein said...

'I take that to be a big scared ‘NO’then.'

Not at all. My name is Smith. I come from Aberdeen and live in the south of England. I am of voting age

Not quite full electoral register detail, but about enough for a national virtual consistency in which one is advised only to provide as little public detail as is sensible, and where, of course, you have the ability to check the validity of the general location

I now look forward to being able to cast my virtual vote at your virtual polling station in the very near future.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Scunnered, O'Aberdein) 25/04/08

That narrows it down then. Why don’t you set one up, similar to your friends on ‘Terrywatch’

Scunnered, O'Aberdein said...

I have no friends on 'Terrywatch'.

So, now that I have an identity, which you inferred I should be too scared to offer, I should like you to set up the poll as suggested. Can't you, or won't you?

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Scunnered, O'Aberdein) 28/04/08
Dear well known Mr. Smith from England, “Can't you, or won't you” Both, but, if it’s a popularity contest you want you could always challenge me at the polls.
